All classes are taught by Gerlisa Garrett, TCRG. A certified teacher with An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG), the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin, Ireland, Gerlisa had a long and successful competitive career: qualifying for and competing at the World Championships, placing at numerous North American Championships, and achieving top ten finishes in both solo and ceili dancing at the New England Championships.

Gerlisa has trained extensively with some of the top Irish dancers in the world including original Riverdance cast member Deirdre Goulding, Riverdance principal dancers James Greenan, Lauren Smyth, Ciara Sexton, and Aislinn Ryan, and renowned sean nós dancer Edwina Guckian. She has performed in venues from Times Square in NYC to local pubs and parades and shared the stage with many great trad musicians and bands.

Gerlisa is also a licensed middle school teacher with a masters degree in education who brings years of education experience to her dance classes. She received the Rising Star Award from the Vermont Association of Middle Level Educators in 2020 for her commitment to equity, innovation, and responsive teaching, practices which she also brings to her dance instruction. Her top priority is creating a safe, positive environment in which every dancer can thrive.
